Wow quite the exchange at white house between Zelenskyy, Trump and Vance. I've never seen anything like this. :lol: :wtf: it's currently 11.9c and a few clouds @ the pond in south Sardis.

2024/2025 Winter summary(up to Feb 28):

-Weak LN
-Basically no region wide snow all winter long, save the 2-4 sloppy cms ~Feb 1-13, but this only occurred in "some areas", not all. While some areas saw basically zilch all winter :cancel: :flakey: :flakey:
-Some isolated areas in the LM received around 20-25+cms during this same time frame from S>N streamers during the unstable and Troffy events in early Feb, mainly in a section from Langley to Abby, Mission S>N

Compare to last years EN, where we saw an amazing cold snap that dropped a region-wide 20-30cms in a very cold week of weather.

Summary: EN and LN basically don't mean much imo. Because this winter was a joke really :roll: :roll:
April is here and the weather only gets better now 8-)
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

Yikes!

Snow in the long range. I was outside at lunch today and it felt like spring.

So for nearly a year I have been running a heat pump instead of my old furnace. I am projecting that I will save about $170 per year on energy. My electrical bill is going to be about $300 more than last year but my gas bill should be about $480 less than last year. The cooling in the summer is definitely appreciated as well. I previously used 1 or 2 portables and had my doors/windows open with fans on to cool things down which did result in quite a few bugs in my house as I didn't have windows or door screens. It's unfortunate I couldn't install a heat pump water tank though, my panel is now maxed out. Nearly half my gas bill is just the connection charge now as my water tank is my only gas appliance.
