Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
They def need it! Is this correct..only 28cm so far this year? Geezus.
And i don't like how these local mountains make everything look nice with multiple measures on the pages..trying to give the illusion there is much snow
I wouldn't doubt it either if the 28cm includes the 17cm they made themselves

Lets go chilly wet for the next 10 days, with much moisture spilling over into the mountains of the Similkameen. Its sledding season boys and girls

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
We're now at the point where we will start gaining evening light in just a couple of days! We won't lose evening light anymore. For Maple Ridge, the earliest sunset is at 4:11 which is what we're at today. For a couple of days, we will have the same 4:11 PM sunset, and then it will start to increase.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The mountain snow pack is pathetic right now. We might head into the xmas break with next to nothing on the mountains. Wow, I bet people who bought a ski pass this year are regretting it!

Gfs just through up a middle finger to any type of consolidated jet, heavy mountain snow pattern in the next 10 days. Cool and relatively dry. Splitty

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The GFS keeps throwing up bombs hitting us..then backs off as the magical time window approaches. Even Tyler has been promising mountain snows, all while Greta has been warning us..

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
A dud of a Nov/Dec period taking shape. No end in sight to this split flow pattern. Maybe Jan/Feb but it looks like it might be another month of this gunk based on the long range outlook.

In other news, PNA is clearly trending negative though.
