So anytime there is a major positive height anomoly smack dab in the middle of Europe, it means that the negative/cold has a better chance of being in our general area. So hopefully thats what happens although its been tuf to crack this Ninoish winter.

So I take it the gfs is lying again about the copious mountain snow in the mid range, judging by the eps. What is it with that model? Is it the McDonald's of weather models?

The models have been garbage for 2 months now since the cold October.

It was a wild and crazy day at white rock beach. Dozens of seals and sea lions , THOUSANDS of seagulls ,never seen so many in my life , and millions of 2-4 inch baitfish, not sure what type but apparently herring come here to spawn. The school was so large and thick that they didn't even flinch when dive bombed by seagulls,they were lined up all along the pier and shoreline. The seals were just slowly swimming around probably inhaling the little things.

Awesome shots there Gumpy. that's where my long lost cousins got too. Kristi Gordon mentioned those cloud formations. Did you send to Global weather window? wouldn't even know its December looks like a calm September day to me.
