06z GFS shows some snow/cold at the end of the run...always at the end. I think the GF is like 1/11 so far this winter with verification of these cold/snowy end of runs

I don't think the EC following the GEM means the GEM leads the way. But it may just be in this case, we will see. Either way it's going to be dry as a bone, but some cold is a nice change.

Second one looks extrapolatable at least. The GFS at that range is whatever.

Definately some potential going forward.
Would be kind of neat to go from a "fake cold" pattern into a legit cold one with hopefully some snowfall.
Again, we've been down this road so often and we know how it usually goes.
However... we are getting closer and closer to #FEB..... #climo is on our side for once.
