12z GFS continues the Status Quo..rainstorm after rainstorm. Dec 24 is the timeline to watch rn with that 95.0 Low :shock: :shock:
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

Possibly, depends on the track and strength of the low ultimately. That storm is too far in the future to know for sure.

Odds look to be increased for a windstorm(s) within the next week or two though.

All models show above normal heights across North America into the New Year. Should be seeing interesting model runs by mid-late Jan.

Often the case that a Pineapple Express pattern gets followed by a cold outflow one after a few weeks.

5.6 mm so far today IMBY with lots more to come if the models are even remotely correct.

Looks like only 10mm so far in east Coquitlam, but the rain has picked up where I am near Burnaby Lake.
