I'm going to say this before the media picks it up and it can be twisted to be media driven scare mongering;

This bird flu situation has high potential of getting really bad and really soon. There is a kid with it in critical condition here in the lower mainland. It's increasing in wastewater in populated areas. It's only a matter of time before it goes human to human. Nothing is being done as usual.

There will be nothing done this time, no lockdowns will be accepted, masks will be laughed off. Death rate is unclear but I've read some unsettling things (10% or even higher). No reason to think that kids will be spared like with covid.

Hope I'm wrong though. It would be nice to wait a few more years before we get another pandemic.

Been thinking the same thing as well saw a news report from the U.S. 1 mild case in California the patient has recovered. Best to lock your self in the closet this world is doomed as it is war, pandemics the list goes on please no more Dr. Bonnie Henry.
