I spent the weekend in victoria. Had a dust off my umbrella that I haven't pulled out since the last time I was in Victoria 5 years ago... Damn, did it ever rain! It started 1 km south of Lytton and just never let up.

They say that Hope is the wettest place along the Fraser river, but that is a lie. It just rained harder as I went towards vancouver!

Picked up 23mm of rain this morning. There were some fairly heavy downpours.

Currently sitting at 298.5 for the month, with the majority having accumulated over the past few days of course.

Near 70 mm in Victoria last weekend.

413 mm in Coquitlam Burke Mountain for this month, rainiest October since at least 2014. This place is probably the wettest of Metro Vancouver.

Normally Hope is one of the rainier spots Glace but this was more west and north oriented.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.

First snow of the year at my new location in the foothills of southern Alberta. I won’t bore you guys with posts from here often but I’ll follow along as it’s still cool to see how the weather is doing in the Vancouver area!

Absolutely outstanding photos former East Whack neighbor, had no idea you moved. Definitely will miss you. You'll be hard to replace on team Sardinies this winter with your outstanding perch on the hillside but it appears you picked an outstanding area to move to as long as you don't go Lames or Oil can rogue on us  which town is nearby? and do keep us up on your snow total and temperature we use to have a member that moved to Albert but haven't seen him here in afew years.

Where there any monthly or all time records broken? Has anyone seen any return period calculations? Was this a 1 in 100 storm?
