Man. That was an intense day. I personally spent it trying to get up the Duffy Lake Road in a rickety old van that was leaking cats and dogs. One of the scariest and longest drives of my life.

Nice to see it spread through to interior parts of the province.
Any sign of strong winds?

Winds don’t look super impressive. Breezy but very run of the mill.

Not that this will be remotely similar but I have a memory of the 2015 windstorm being relatively unexpected/I forecasted. It could be inaccurate as I only really got interested in weather and joined here a year later.

Thankfully the anti-thunderstorm field kept them well away from Metro Vancouver yet again.
It's called clown range for a reason.

The 3km NAM is a bit more uniform across Metro Vancouver.

Similkameeeens has 4 VERY distinct seasons.
The 4 seasons locally are quite tame imo. Basically 2 seasons here.. just 9 months rain and then 3 of sun/heat..no?
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for
..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing?
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

I’d be happy with going right into the wet fall season right now.
