How accessible is that area? Would be amazing to see it blast open (assuming a safe viewpoint exists).

Mix of sun and cloud and mild gradually shifting into a mostly sunny, hot day across the Western Kootenays, especially in southern regions... was 32c in Castlegar earlier. Could smell and breathe smoke on the west side of the Selkirk Mointains along the Hwy 31a corridor, especially right along Slocan Lake in New Denver.

Thanks for the video link (facebook). I couldn't figure out which part was the slide because the trees were still upright. Pretty amazing the way it looks like it's meant to be there.

Possibility of Northern Lights tonight but it seems to be decreasing. Last night was great...on the other side of the clouds. ;)
