Agreed. I’d much rather it be dry and muggy than raining and muggy.

No such thing as raining and muggy, at least not this far north.

BTW, it's been one of the least humid months ever.

Head smashed in Buffalo is located in the eastern foothills of the Rockies (Porcupine Hills) with steep hills/cliffs and the flat prairie below. The museum on site illustrates the traditional hunting method by the local natives of the area (Blackfoot tribe) hunted the Bison/Buffalo for the past 6,000 years. Really cool area and would definitely recommend taking the small detour if anyone is passing through on the Crowsnest Hwy.

It's also located in prime Chinook country!

Currently 17c with light showers/drizzle in Pincher Creek with moderate westerly winds.
In the west Chilcotin we often get Chinooks. Tatlayoko Lake a couple km from the weather station has less snow on the ground than Kelowna or even Osoyoos in the winter because it Chinooks 30 times a winter.

30km to the north at Tatla Lake it hardly ever does, so it's often 20 or 30 degrees colder. BUT as far as I can tell, it holds the Canadian record for largest temperature rise in a single day. 43 degrees. From -43 to 0. January 5th, 1982.

That chart is for the interior. Personally, it's felt pretty muggy at times this month here in the Fraser Valley. But it's really subjective.

Interesting to see two of the wettest late July days on record at YVR occurring in back-to-back years. Very statistically significant given it is the driest time of the year.

For those of us who don't like the heat and humidity here, we should count our blessings. Check out the latest RGEM for Orlando Florida.
