UBC, the Richmond and Delta members, Burnaby/eastern suburbs, North Shore, even downtown I heard, but not us.
Sorry about that.

Believe it or not, despite all the donuts it is still the snowiest March for me in 30+ years.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Some models have been showing some snow shower activity for Van Island and over the alpine areas of the South Coast. Could bring some cloudcover the next 24 hrs with potential for very light flurries.
Eggcellent call there El Nino man, although l must say you nailed this pretty good to bad your pineapple calls are usually lacking. and we don't live in the alpine area at sea level. :wtf:

GFS killed our warm spell. In fact, it's now showing a retrogression signal.

00z GEFS wasn’t quite buying it. 06z op not buying it, 06z GEFS not buying it, 00z EPS not buying it. The only reason I keep it on the back burner is the westward progression of the ridge’s axis between the 00z and the 06 GEFS. A snippet of the GFS op in clown range isn’t convincing. Even if it retrogrades, that stretch of beauty spring weather lasts 5-7 days. I’ll take it.

Edit: beat me to it stuffers. I was typing as you posted.

One slightly cold day in an isolated pocket of the world, OR
A February warmer than any other recorded February, with an entire continent's (Europe) February being warmer than its warmest March?
Very tough question !!!

I care  lighten up buddy. I clearly post that jokingly to Nito to show that spring is coming. There's no need to cry over it. People do it all the time.

It's just like the plus 18c jokes.

Really hope it verifies. There is a decent chance we see another episode of troughing by late month.
