I want to upload MS Excel graphs converted to PDF files. I wasn't aware that PDF files have more vulnerabilities than the various image files that are allowed, but it makes sense. It's not difficult to convert Excel graphs to JPG files; it just takes a couple of extra steps.stuffradio wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 11:46 am Allowing PDF files to be attached could open vulnerabilities. What are you wanting to upload?

Re: Feedback
Would it be possible to fix the forum logo? I don't know if everyone is seeing this, but the BC Storms logo appears for a brief second when the page loads, but then it's overwritten by a huge phpBB logo. This happens on all of my devices.

Re: Feedback
Interesting. I use Firefox on my computers, but it's also doing the same thing on my iPhone, so I don't think it's my devices. It seems like some kind of board setting that's causing it to revert.
Here's the link on the image: styles/elegance/theme/images/logo_hd.png
I should add this has been happening for many months (maybe even years?).

Re: Feedback
I see that too but only on my phone, and even after I wiped the cache. My tablet and computers displayed the BC Storms logo correctly after clearing cache tho.

Re: Feedback
Very interesting. I'll take a look at the logo folder. Thanks for posting the url and the other reports. It might have something to do with the forum cache folder on the server. I also use firefox and it appears ok for me, mind you I use a cleaning program to wipe out the internet cache on from my browser on my home computer.

Re: Feedback
Invision community has a $59/month plan (probably USD) but I would need to monetize this forum in some way in order to afford it. Any suggestions?

AO3 style fundraiser? you'd need about $1,000/year if that is USD.stuffradio wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 7:15 am Invision community has a $59/month plan (probably USD) but I would need to monetize this forum in some way in order to afford it. Any suggestions?
Iirc, it happens 2x year and they regularly overshoot their target. (granted a much larger audience, so easier to get more than requested)

Re: Feedback
Probably wont work here as most people don't donate and would not. Invisionboard is ok, but the one forum I ran with it was not very good. I always preferred phpbb, it just seems easier to manage.stuffradio wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 7:15 am Invision community has a $59/month plan (probably USD) but I would need to monetize this forum in some way in order to afford it.
