The only positive about the freezing rain is that it will seal all the snow under a layer of ice and prevent it from melting.

Wednesday and Thursday looks to be a winter wonderland outside.

Thursday night and Friday will be ugly outside. Hopefully the pineapply rain melts the slush in a hurry.

Downside is the weight on trees.

I disagree...the slow melt after that Jan 7/8 2023 overrunner/icestorm was absolutely terrible. Couldn't walk anywhere for 3 days. I hope once it goes it just goes.

This sure is bad timing. My parents are going into Vancouver for a concert Thursday night. They will be really disappointed if it gets cancelled or they can't get in. As much as I love this weather, I will feel really sad for them if they are not able to go to the concert. Just awful timing.

Let's just not have freezing rain at all and keep it straight snow.

Now that's something we can all agree on.

The models are all in lockstep. Haven't seen that too often.
