Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
I'm favoring the "bust" graphic from TWN (which is still pretty decent). These set ups are usually pretty good at scouring out the cold upper air. For those of us in western sections I'd be happy with 5-10 before the transition to rain. Certainly riding the line of something great in eastern portions.

If 20 cm at my place is a bust, I'll take it.
High of -0.7C here. Looks like YXX may have gotten above freezing today... 0.0C at 2 pm.

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Seattle is in a winter where places get hit immediately to their south and then to their north. Sucks to suck.

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Wait did I just read that Saturday busted in Portland? I totally tuned that one out. Bahaha Vancouver wins the Northwest for the 5th straight event. Dec 2021, Nov 2022, Dec 2022, Feb 2023 (I'll give Portland a tie on that one with the nice snowstorm there) and now Jan 2024.
Febs 2021 and 2019 are but a distant memory.
