I briefly had my first flakes of the season but stopped now. No accumulation.

Big mountain snows always seem to be 7-10 days out this season unfortunately. Snow levels will likely hover around 1300-1500m this week which is a touch too high for the lower and mid mountain levels on the north shore.

Lots of rain this week along the north shore. I think Grouse and Cypress will be closing before the end of the week. For how long? Who knows.

Yeah the 00z GFS doesn't look too encouraging in the mid range. Blocking returns with a ridge overhead.

Split flow, ridging, split flow, ridging. Few brushes with continental air and brief rainy spells but this has been the default setup for 2 months now. Atmosphere is stuck in a +ENSO state.
