Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Brutally cold day by our standards, even at midday.
Add in those outflow winds and it really felt like bites to the face, especially in the morning before sunrise and now again after sunset, even though I was only outside for about 20-30 minutes each time.
Something neat to experience, especially since it doesn't happen very often.

Hopefully we can score a big region wide snowfall early next week before the El Niño pattern returns.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:53 pm Brutally cold day by our standards, even at midday.

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Right now unless the models are scouring out the cold too fast I don't really see it happening. However I hope it does.

Re: January 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Ran some errands today and it was very strange to walk out of my Vancouver home and feel typical Rockies temperatures.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:53 pm Brutally cold day by our standards, even at midday.
