Until March 1st so long as I am here, because I am not allowed snow in March or April. Sorry, just the way it is.
It's called clown range for a reason.

At least you didn’t get completely skunked.

Typeing3 wrote: Fri Jan 12, 2024 11:02 am Looks like temps bottomed out at -13.5c in east Coquitlam earlier this AM.

Two wunderground stations closest to me recorded lows of -13.3c and -13.7c.
I confirm, my Burnaby Mountain PWS (Curtis and Burnwood, elevation 139m), hit a low of -13.3. This is the lowest temperature since I started recording in 2007.

The 12Z GEM still shows widespread snow Tuesday night. :silent:

12Z Euro has some wet slop for Tuesday night / Wednesday before it turns to rain.

My money is on the Tuesday/Wednesday system delivering snow because in my experience it is far easier to score short-lived slop at the end of a cold spell than it is to score powder at the start of one.

The Euro is clearly a warmer scenario. Ultimately, precipitation type will come down to the track of the low. Could be a major snowstorm or could just be cold rain. Way too soon to have any confidence in any one solution. But I'd be surprised if we don't see some snow. :silent:

Typical fortune teller, telling people what will happen a year later. The fact is that people ask a fortune teller only when they feel depressed. Yes, Im depressed now seeing seattle is going to score big tomorrow. And you are telling us next year will be our turn. Thank you so much! (Nito, whatever you say, I trust you.)
