Looks like temps bottomed out at -13.5c in east Coquitlam earlier this AM.

Two wunderground stations closest to me recorded lows of -13.3c and -13.7c.

I confirm, my Burnaby Mountain PWS (Curtis and Burnwood, elevation 139m), hit a low of -13.3. This is the lowest temperature since I started recording in 2007.

12Z Euro has some wet slop for Tuesday night / Wednesday before it turns to rain.

My money is on the Tuesday/Wednesday system delivering snow because in my experience it is far easier to score short-lived slop at the end of a cold spell than it is to score powder at the start of one.

The Euro is clearly a warmer scenario. Ultimately, precipitation type will come down to the track of the low. Could be a major snowstorm or could just be cold rain. Way too soon to have any confidence in any one solution. But I'd be surprised if we don't see some snow.

Straight effect snow from windy.com radar. Notice the higher dbz colour on east side of Texada Island, it deforms to the west and then reforms heading towards Courtenay.
