Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The sun is really doing a good job of melting the snow now that we're into late Feb.
I still have about 10cm in shaded areas but only about 2cm left in areas exposed to the sun.

Don't forget to cross your fingers and toes, that really helps...unless you're trying to type or walk.Forrest Gump wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 5:41 pm To achieve that you'll need a couple of horseshoes up your arse and stand on your head.

Yeah, this model looks to pretty much exactly follow the Fraser as a boundary.

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Light southerly wind expected ahead of the next system. Keeps surface temps between +2 to +4 at the surface.
Why are models showing a North of Fraser event? Orographic enhancment keep precip rates intense enough for 100m snow levels.

100m snow levels South of the river perhaps?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 7:04 pm Light southerly wind expected ahead of the next system. Keeps surface temps between +2 to +4 at the surface.

Looks like low elevations North of the Fraser could do well.
