The sun is really doing a good job of melting the snow now that we're into late Feb.

I still have about 10cm in shaded areas but only about 2cm left in areas exposed to the sun.

Temp is falling pretty fast this evening. Currently 3.3C after a high of 6.8C earlier.

Light southerly wind expected ahead of the next system. Keeps surface temps between +2 to +4 at the surface.

Why are models showing a North of Fraser event? Orographic enhancment keep precip rates intense enough for 100m snow levels.

100m snow levels South of the river perhaps?

Looks like low elevations North of the Fraser could do well.
