Gumpy did his comedy act but failed miserably since l'm out tonight and couldn't be here. Other than that not much else.

It's lovely... I use to live just up the road from there back in the early 90's. When did they start doing this.?

Finally, -8.8C in Delta, -6.4C in Pitt Meadows and -5.2C in YVR. :problem:
False readings Sheriff.

Abby_wx wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:37 pm It definitely sounds like you've put a lot of work into your setup -- that's what I like to hear.

The Ecowitt stations look pretty good. How's the rain gauge accuracy?

The worst thing about Davis is their rain gauge. It seems like quality on the surface, but the accuracy isn't there. The other annoying thing is you can't separate the rain gauge and the thermo-hygro unit.., at least not without modifying the station.

It used to be that nothing could touch Davis for accuracy, but it's not 2005 anymore. It seems like the lower budget stations are really beginning to compete. I think Davis still comes out on top for temperature, but almost anything else can be done as good or better by the cheaper options.
The rain gauge appears to be fairly accurate, I need to pick up a new manuel gauge as the one I had was left out in February and you can guess it cracked. I've compared my readings to a couple of stations close by and it seems spot on. Even the Cultus lake station and mine are only apart by 3mm. Everything with this unit is separate I'll post pics later today. As much as Ambient and Eccowitt look similar apparently they are separate company's and not affiliated.
