Tomorrow will probably be the last dump of Mountain snow for the month...and a lot of what falls up there will melt by Sunday anyways.

This is unreal to see. There's just no cold building up anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere in the LR. Much of what's modeled is seasonal cold in Siberia and Arctic circle but it's still warmer than normal.

Well we've seen this before where nothing good is on the horizon and then something pops up. Not saying it will happen this year, as I guess the thought is that we are "due" for a dud, but that possibility always exists.

A lack of snow/low snow pack is concerning and as you mentioned, doesn't look like much snowfall for the mountains anytime soon.

It isn't good news for the arctic sea ice levels as well. Probably looking at a record minimum this year.

It shows a little snow even out in the middle of the Strait of Georgia, so I don’t think it’s just terrain bleed.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Looks likely there will at least be some snow in the air down to sea level for a time tomorrow afternoon. SFU could go as high as 5-10cm.

For the island, higher elevations near Nanaimo could also be in the higher 5cm+ range.

Disappointed to see that the official observations for Shawnigan Lake have been offline for over a month now. Does anyone know if there is somewhere to send an email to ask about the state of a specific station? I would love to see it back online.

12z Euro hammers the Eastern Island.

Even the Banana Belt gets shaded in on this one.

Here is the 6z for comparison.
