Another major flood on Sumas is highly unlikely during this event in my opinion. But there will likely be some localized flooding in areas.

Ridging for several days followed by troffing..with chilly temps the last 24 hours. Quite impressive to go from bommy ridging and then temps drop so much
December is here now buttees
Enjoy the ride 8-)
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

No snow in Edmonton last month... last time that occurred in November was way back in 1928.

What happened here later that winter?

Wow! I'm kinda mixed Tnog on what will happen here, this mid December sounds enticing. But Feb seems kinda like a fight between higher sun angles and spring winter is loosing it's grip ya we had 2019 but that's a rare event. Forget January that's our pre spring event.

We will probably not see any widespread flooding. Low lying areas could see some ponding.

Completely different story in Oregon/Washignton.
