Re: November 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
The drive from my work to the pond in south Sardis lights out along highway 1 most of Whatcom Rd. area hillside lights are out quite dark luckily light traffic.
A vehicle spun out just before 3 rd exit looks like the driver hit the cement barrier on the right shoulder flashers on appeared to be o.k.
strong SW winds driving into Chilliwack the flags at the flag shop next to Heritage Park were blowing straight out so our first major blow of the fall season produced. l've got 11.8mm in the pond since midnight and its currently 9c.

Re: November 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
24 mm storm total in Mission. Don't know about the wind but if I had to guess near 70 km/h overnight. Light winds now. Didn't notice any damage driving around but a lot of leaves off the trees.
Forecast says rain all day today but dry currently and I'm seeing blue sky. Front moved through very fast, not seeing much behind it.

Re: November 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
My daughter who works in Tsawwassen said they saw lightening last night, with on strike hitting a transformer up on the hill.
Despite being close to the water, my house is quite sheltered but our top gust was 50kph. Spoke to my dad in S Vancouver, he's lost power and said the gusts felt closer to 70kph

I thought I would post this link https://weather.gc.ca/ensemble/naefs/info_EPSgr_e.html The link takes you to a page that shows you how to interpret the EPSgrams that I like to post.
Here's another link that could be of interest. It shows the individual member forecasts for different parameters https://weather.gc.ca/ensemble/naefs/ca ... pe=TT12000
