Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Prolly splitty at times. But it still looks like troffs will drop down from north. Back to the summer pattern of #tat every 7 days?
End result looks coolish/dry. Hopefully bust outa this mess. Would rather see some relatively stormy/bommy rains..at least the high elevations of the Similkameen would score.

What happened to the SSW that looked like such a sure thing?
That would be gutting if it just disappeared or appeared in April

Crazy wind out in Burnaby today.
Crews are cutting down weak trees along the train tracks right outside my office.
Between that and the leaves/branches blowing against my door and windows,...how's a girl supposed to concentrate!

Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Meantime..back in history..long long ago when this area used to be part of Canada..
The coldest month on record at Abbotsford International Airport is January 1950, with a mean temperature of -8.6°C (an average high of -4.7°C and an average low of -12.4°C). It was during this time that Abbotsford also set its all-time record low temperature of -21.1°C, on the 18th of that month.
Edit: Now we have an arctic outflow and its sitting pretty at +5C all day/night

Wouldn’t be surprised though. That seems to be the trend.

Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I refuse to call conditions this mild "arctic;" if you will notice, I have referred to "Fraser outflow" or just "outflow" for this event but never "arctic outflow."
It's called clown range for a reason.
