Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Default pattern from end of Oct now going into Dec. Going to have to hope for a back loaded winter now to get some Mountain snow. No SSW expected for Dec.

A warm 6.0 right now.
-9 Dewpoint.
34% Humidity. AT least things are drying out.
Got decently windy over night. Still moderately windy now. Nothing great though.

Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I've given up on any kind of good skiing in December at this point, what a joke.
I just booked tickets to go visit my parents in California for 2+ weeks instead of the original plan of going up to whistler.
No point in skiing in depressing conditions

Lol. Yes..easy Nito. You're up 3-1, but the game isn't over yet. Winter doesn't even start until Dec 21, or Dec 1, depending on who you ask
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

I'm still bullish on January delivering. The curse can't go on for much longer....or can it?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 11:02 am Default pattern from end of Oct now going into Dec. Going to have to hope for a back loaded winter now to get some Mountain snow. No SSW expected for Dec.

Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Seems like the trend in models since October has been to overdue precip in the mid and long term and then back off and revert to split flow. We need a pattern reset. Something to neutralize the background state, so to speak. The SSW event would have been nice, but it looks non existent now. Anyway, way too early to write anything off. I still like the end of December and early January. At some point climatology has to win out and we get into an active wet pattern, which will then set us up for something decent.

Re: November 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Definitely more potential on that run but I'm not inclined to believe any solution in the mid-long range at this point.
