I don't have that kind of money either. I'm driving a 18-year-old Jetta, so pretty much a flintstone mobile. The turbo doesn't seem to be working so it has no power going up hills right now. It cost $75 to fill up after 780 km. But it will probably cost me a thousand bucks to fix the turbo. Or maybe $2,000. The joys of driving an old car.

Yes that's right you mentioned that before.
I'm always thankful when l turn the key and she turns over so is my wife so doesn't have to drive me to work.

Cat & mouse games with gas prices in the central valley
unlike last week when l gased up at 192.9c only to find 185.9c at another station.
I gased up @ 182.9c on Wednesday morning and today Thursday it's up to 192.9c @ the brand stations l didn't see what Centex or Canco was.
Side note there's a Fas Gas @ Vedder Rd. and Promotory l've been watching there prices they seem just as low as Centex and Canco perhaps competing.

In B.C.'s interior there's the gas stations with the checkered flag anyone have the name of those l think there calld Race Trax or something l've seen them mostly up towards the cariboo. Independent l'm assuming l think fas gas as well we have one l in central valley.

Could be Houndbreath but fas gas is green and yellow now in the interior it was checkered black and white stations l believe.

Gas seems to be waffling around 186.9c @ the Canco in the central valley l saw 192.9c today Thursday at one of the big brand companies they keep trying to jack up the price but Centex and Canco refuse to raise their price these two stations are giving the bad ass brand stations a run for their money Houndbreath.

Don't know if it's a coincidence, but my fuel economy was worse than it should have been with Canco gas. Wonder if they add more ethanol or something to their gas. Guess I'll stick with Esso since they have Optimum points as well. Either way it's nice to have the extra competition.

Haven't tried Canco Abby Sr. thanks for the heads up.
I have tried Centex seemed o.k. mileage wise for my vehicle. seems to be a very busy location it's a small station with alot of Karen's cutting in.

Gas is currently 183.9c at both Centex and Canco in the central valley.

Gas jumped 10 cents over night. Total BS. If refineries are 'shut down' for maintenance, they should be FINED for every minute they are UNPREPARED causing prices to go up. Otherwise this is nothing more than a scam!

Unfortunately Houndhead these maintenance shut downs are all too common it seems. Is it a coincidence or not l don't remember these maintenance shut downs affecting gas prices in the past. Gas prices in the central valley are from 189.9c at Centex to 192.9c at the brand name stations.

Gas prices in the central valley this weekend are 193.9c to l saw 196.9c l wasn't near Centex or Canco so l can't confirm their prices but the slow climb towards 2.00 bucks is on.

Yeah it's Houndbuckle, it seems to be any excuse to inflate prices at any cost f...k the consumer it appears.
Perhaps trying to get the public to buy into electric vehicles.

I gased up @ 190.9c this afternoon at one of the brand stations in the central valley. l'll check Centex and Canco Monday morning.

Still should be lower. As for electric, you just wait, the gouge will be on for that as BC Hydro already complains we use too much and ask to cut back. The more electric cars charging will be a great excuse for them to jack rates or whatever they are colluding for the future.
