Last year we hit 30 well into October. Maybe even November I can't remember exactly. A week of active weather in September is awesome but it doesn't mean summer's over.

Really? Just checked and the high all month was 25.2°C IMBY.

Yes, it was a very torchy month but October torching is a very different beast from July or August torching.

Whoops...perhaps I'm thinking of another recent year. And yes October is probably my favourite torching month.

Just watch! There's a cluster of thundestorms over Central Puget Sound...I bet these dissipate or shift towards Monty before it reaches Bellingham.

Interesting comparing the forecasts for Victoria, Vancouver, Abottsford and Hope. Vancouver & Victoria actually have the terminology of "Periods of rain with a few thunderstorms beginning before morning" The Valley only says "Periods of rain with risk of thunderstorms" Hmm..

Yet the maps Jr. posted show it more over the Valley.

If the force-field shows up again, I think we have a solid 3evidence for weather modification!

And with the lightning maps' history of 100% accuracy, time to close up shop and move on with our lives.
