The only redeeming quality of the 12Z Euro is the most anomalous heat is limited to a couple of days. :tiredos:

Meanwhile the 12Z GFS would be okay for the Interior.

Either way, looks like we enter another period of excessive heat according to the ensembles. :tiredos:

One of the EPS gram runs from one or two days ago had whiskers where the thickness went down to near 540. It's now back to 550 today but that would have been something.

Its possible that wildfire smoke might help to keep temperatures lower than modelled, although that depends on fire activity and wind direction.

Revelstoke and points due east and south sure got hammered by the remnants of Hilary. Kelowna had a trace, but humidity is high. Stiff northerly wind in the Okanagan, but that doesn't seem to have propagated the fire. I'm tempted to say it's game over for that complex of fires. But showers on the ridges or points east are irrelevant to definitively putting this sucker out. If Kelowna proper, West Kelowna, and Westbank don't see any showers tonight and tomorrow, that's not ideal, but hopefully it won't be a concern as things dry out come thursday.

I don't even have that picture saved to my phone  maybe it got deleted due to the ban? Only thing I could think of.

I'll have to find a new one. Does anyone have a website that makes it 100/100 pixars that's needed for a upload?
