For what it's worth, some ensembles members on the Euro have more heat in the medium to long range. Still fantasy though so way too soon to panic if you don't like the heat. :think: :14clown:

Alot of our weather for the long range will be determined by the remnants of Hurricane Dory which could merge into some weather systems in the north central Pacific, amplifying the jet stream and that could mean a return of heat and ridging for our region (after a few days of moderating temps next week).. Models are having some trouble with this. Maybe that's why some members are hot and others cool..

Did you mean Hurricane Dora? That's the one that hit Hawaii.

Looks like Lytton climate station set a provincial record for august today. Wonder what the Canadian record is. I’m sure it’s probably close.

Hurricane Kay, I believe. Though it was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it hit S California.

Is that a relatively new station? I noticed Lytton has 2 stations.

Hit a high of 34.4c in central valley today it's currently 29c. :D
