2 or 3 more rounds of T-storms in the interior and the torch could be on. Dodging bullets the last cupla weeks imo with all the instability and that week long troffing and T-storms. Already getting parched in the forests in the Similkameeeens and still in May :shock:
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:

Warmest May on record for Abbotsford, mean temp 16.2C (maybe 16.1C after today is counted). Previous record 15.6C in 1993.

3rd warmest and 6th driest in Vancouver YVR.

The summer of 1993 was a cold one, especially July!

Good example of just how dry the soil is in the Fraser valley. Took these shots of a field being tilled in Abbs near my work down near Sumas very dry and dusty. :x
