You mentioned summer rainfall too; here's what that looks like over the years in Vancouver (Steveston/YVR) and Abbotsford.

Those averages seem really light for yxx... July and August temperatures used to average higher than that, at least by a degree or more.

The monthly temp and precip averages are for summer 2020... @PortKells asked me to post that summer stats since it was the last cooler than average summer.

To be fair, I should've clarified I meant long term average, not the weird rolling average that skews things IMO. Do you have the 2020 stats relative to long term average? I recall August being quite warm and I seem to recall it pushing us into above average territory even considering those skewed averages.

This is absolutely insane weather going on it reached 34c @ the pond today in south Sardis.
Our mid July weather 8 weeks early it's scary to think how much hotter we could be by then.
Along with 0mm precip from now through mid July along with massive wildfires throw in some smoke in there and with Bones and Houdmans misery posts and you've got the makings of another unprecedented heat dome 2.0. :x

Ah I see I thought those were the average stats. So it looks about average to me. The rainfall was nice that year, probably my favourite summer recently along with 2019.

Because Vancouverites don’t care about Chilliwack. They only stop in there on their way to Cultus Lake. Chilliwack is the stink factory of the lower mainland where bad air goes to rest.
