I remember years ago when you were just a wee pea on your acerage in east M.R. and going for 10km runs in any weather. :wtf:

Looking like ~30c +/- inland for the next 7 days...mid May. Is this a sign of another brutal summer with more record shattering temps, droughts, smoke and fires?
And here it is..December 2024 all snow geeks have been waiting for :silent: ..with the LR weather "charts" calling for a cold and snowy month. Where's the troffing? :silent: :silent:
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

Yes most likely. The new normal. The glaciers in SW BC won't last another 30 years.

Yes, you're right it was 2011, but many of those hot and dry summers were followed by wet September's and October's. Not last year, though of course.

I know we keep beating this horse but there's something seriously wrong with the YVR station location. It's so overexposed to the sea breeze for some reason. I'm pretty sure literally a couple hundred metres inland from the immediate shore would be 4-5C warmer...

The current YVR temperature of 21° seems absurd , it's at least 28° everywhere else...although I do see some 23's and 24's for Richmond,Ladner, and Tsawwassen . I'm at 28° but White Rock weather station at 30°.
