Good for the leafs. 3 chances now to break the streak. Will they blow it again?
Yup Kells this is very much like Westcoast model watching in the winer the excitement builds as 3 out 4 models are showing a classic arctic outbreak.
But as climo or reality sets in model by model or in this case game by game the collapse begins and so will the Laffs in game 7.

They've had a lot more than 3 chances to break the streak. Stretches back quite some time... remember vs Boston game 7 2013?
That was the best meltdown right up there with some of our model meltdowns probably even better.

To clarify I meant that they have a maximum 3 games here to win one.
Horvat's scoring took a big dip down the stretch, and he's looking very pedestrian in the playoffs, doesn't even deliver any body checks. A player making $8.5M per should be a difference maker, but he's not. Canucks probably made the right move in dumping Horvat and keeping Miller. I can see Miller doing well in the playoffs if they can ever get there.
How about those Kraken? Absolute blazing speed for top to bottom. Just shows how far behind the canucks are. If Seattle had Pettersson and Miller ,they would be strong cup contenders.

Definitely faster than a speeding bullet, can leap over buildings in a single bound but can their goaltending be as good as kryptonite skipper Gimpers.

Colorado on the brink.
The Kraken getting good goaltending, kryptonite goaltending and superstar players not needed when you have speed and stifling defense . Vegas 2.0 , just one year late.

Yes we've all heard the conspiracy theory the Bitemen effect but l think it comes down to good drafting coaching both Veg and Kracks figured it out.

No shortage of 1st round drama.
Will the Stanley Cup champions really get beat at their own game and lose to the 2nd year Kraken?
Will the record breaking Presidents Choice champions choke ?
Will the Leafs annual choke job continue?
Will the Oilers dynamic duo checkmate the Kings, or do the Kings have a couple jokers up their sleeve?

Florida over Boston would be an upset for the ages.

Since the Leafs = England...
Could the Leafs have the equivalent of England's run at the 2018 world cup? Ultimately they still fell flat!
I have to admit the Leafs have a pretty good squad, which is why I am cheering for Boston because I think they give the Leafs the toughest match up in the next round.
