Did Nito use the s word? If so this song might be invalid. But then again he could still change his mind.

A long long time ago
John can still remember how
The snow used to make him smile
And he knew if he had half a chance
That he could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

But Dec/Jan made him shiver
With every post Nito would deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
He couldn't take one more step
I can't remember if he cried
When his forecast all but died
Something touched him deep inside
The day he swallowed his pride
So

Bye, bye Miss Creeker and Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
And them good ole boys were drinking Dr.Pepper and rye
Singin' this'll be the day that I cry
This'll be the day that I cry

Well, looks like this next bone dry week will close out one of the lamest Novembers in memory. Although November 2018 was also quite pathetic. I am optimistic for the first week of December! Bring on the zonal flow! Currently +3.5c at my house.

Hoping to get some jet conslidation in Dec week 2. Need some good Mountain snow. Also would kill those strong +SST temps offshore.

Still stand on my call for lowland snow on Xmas week.
00z GFS looking good for that jet consolidation into week 2. Even late in week 1. At least some moisture is back in the picture . Also at this time of year isn't a rex block gonna mean inversions and fog? Especially if it sets up right over us with the low off of Cali. Do you think the outflow winds will dry the lower levels enough?

I'd have to agree. Not enough true Arctic cold air to draw on for the outflow. Maybe an arctic fart? If it is forecast -10 at 3,000 feet, wouldn't that peg us at -3 at best for nighttime and wind will make that more like 0. These positive SST temps are not going to help the snow lovers that's for sure. I guess on the bright side, they can help with some big dumps on the coast during transition events.
