How could we forget

I love the news broadcaster. His reporting was so clever.

Just watched that, what a great video and memory.

I can't remember if that was the year but during one snow storm the ferry from Langdale which rarely gets cancelled due to weather, had some runs cancelled because the ferry traffic couldn't get up the highway and so the ferries couldn't unload.

Oh my you guys are so sweet. I can't even reply individually to all your posts as there are so many! (happy tears.) Seriously, your prayers and well-wishes have me all emotional. Thank you for caring.

I won't clog up the forum and tell my whole tale of woe but I'll just sum up that ever since September I have been dealing with nonstop kidney issues from my congenital kidney disease. This includes near constant kidney stones. I've already numerous tests, doctor's appointments and surgery and it looks like more is going to be required. All of this excruciating pain has taken a toll on me mentally and I've been battling depression, which resulted in me losing interest in weather and everything else in life.

To come on here and be told I am missed and like family...wow. It means more than you know. Depression can be a liar and yes, it even got me believing that perhaps my weather buddies have forgotten about me or are mad that I haven't been on here much, helping with moderating (even though this group of people is so amazing that barely any moderating has to be done. )

Anyway, I can't tell you how much your supportive messages have lifted my spirits this morning. I hope to participate more on here again. I miss all of you and the forum. I just need to get my happiness back. That will come in time, I'm sure.

Some snow would DEFINITELY help my mood! If I am going to be spending so much time in bed, I want to be watching snow flakes falling out my window!

From my crude knowledge of Italian, I believe that means "my what misery!"...A reference to how dry the ensembles are.

That was the year John called in the army to help him with groceries , jug of milk and a can of sardines, and kibbles & bits for his canine friend.

Ok... it looks kinda torchy too in the long range. El Nito will like the murky stagnant inversion induced weather.
