Heard this on a reel or youtube short behind big waves crashing against some big houses, they seemed to be taking it and the water just poured off the roof. :o This music sure added to the drama of the vid.

Saw the Elton John :gramps: dodger stadium concert on Disney+ last Sunday. A little disappointed as his singing voice is just a shell of his former self. If I listened on radio and just tuned in I'm not sure I would have guessed it was Elton John. And he totally abstained from any attempt to hit the high notes. Kiki Dee showed up to do the Don't Go Breaking my Heart duet , I think she was even worse, although it seemed like she was fighting some health issue. In comparison saw the 80 year old Frankie Valli on PBS a few months ago and he sounded pretty good and still managed to hit the high notes . I guess it's more of a farewell nostalgia tour.

That sucks gumps. I watched his performance in that early pandemic home performance series, it was something I wasn't comfortable with ( how bad it sounded). As a rock piano player I learned a lot of my chops from his early stuff. Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock and deeper cuts like Razor Face and Rotten Peaches.

Unfortunately his voice went a long time ago. He still has the performance chops at least and the awesome style.

Anyway, just discovered a singer from I'm assuming the 50s/60's by the name of Lee Dorsey. WOW how have I never heard of this guy. It's early early funk, very groovy piano based rock. Vocals like Ray Charles. So much soul and yet so much fun.

I knew you would have been distracted, that wasn't the point. My point was that the parody was hilarious and very well done, with a sutle change in lyrics.

 Actually, Abby sr. Got The Doors correct Riders on the storm was released on June 2nd 1971, sadly Jim Morrison passed away on July 3rd 1971 in Paris France he was 27.
I remember the.tune very well but not his death l would have been 12 probably more into The Partridge Family or Donny Osmond. :wtf: :D :shifty:
I'll drop the 2nd tune later on.
And the second tune with thunder and rain effects it was Released in August of 1971 from the Album Ram Paul McCartney and Wings Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey, interesting enough that tune was about Paul McCartney's Uncle. thanks for playing fishes 🐟 music trivia.
