Cold shot early next week morphs into a backdoor blast. Cold air settles into the columbia basin.

Same thing out here. About 4 to 5" on the ground since the big dump of Feb 11.

Seriously, that month features either massive torches or flooding rains these days. Last Jan to record more than 1cm of snow at YVR was back in 2012, more than seven years ago!

Used to be way more common. January 2005, January 2007, January 2008, January 2009, January 2011, and January 2012.
