ICON is completely different for Monday. Setup looks colder than today which would bode well for snow chances.

Also the models continue to indicate that the dominant NPAC ridge we have seen the past 20 days will be undercut in the extended range

Yes the models are trying to break the pattern lock. Didn't they try to do this over a week ago as well and nothing happened Nito?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 8:14 pm Also the models continue to indicate that the dominant NPAC ridge we have seen the past 20 days will be undercut in the extended range

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I would say probably less than 10cm on the grass and roofs plus all the snow piles. It is of the well packed old snow variety.

If YVR can hold on to the subfreezing monthly average, this would be the coldest month since January 1993!

Re: February 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
So more snow chances or dry and slow moderation? I'm asking for Jr.
The 7th annual snowfall contest is canceled due to no snow this winter.
